About Me

I was most recently the Co-Founder and Director of Engineering at BloomSpot, a venture-backed startup in San Francisco that sends you ridiculously great local offers for weekend getaways and local luxury experiences. Prior to BloomSpot I was a Sr. Software Engineer at Yahoo! for three years where, among other creations, I invented and built Yahoo! MapMixer, a new maps product. MapMixer was the first public product launched from Yahoo!’s Hack Day program. MapMixer was launched at NextFest 2007 in Los Angeles. I’ve also spent a great deal of time building social Internet products, having entertained over 6 million users with my applications and games on social networks and co-founding Wowzio, a popular contextual blog widgets startup.

When I’m not cooking up my next project, I enjoy playing tennis, guitar, morning yoga, reading, movies, volunteering in schools, following Indian cricket and finding poetic peace in seeing life unfold around me. I’m a proud alumnus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I graduated with a BS in Computer Science and the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia where I graduated with an MBA in 2012.
